I'm ready for Jets
« on: Dec 04, 2013, 06:03 PM »
OK, after much practice and setting up my Saitek, I'm ready for some jet action in Arma III,
This map get's very small very quickly in a speeding jet so keep that in mind when planning a mission. I flew around Altis in just a few minutes.
Can we use the CV I've seen in demo's?

Its a bird!!! Its a Plane!!!! Its H???

Good job H
I haven't even sat in one of the jets in Arma yet, but like some of the other guys I would be into piloting a Heli from time to time. I guess I have the itch for flying too.

anyways can't wait to call in our first "danger close" strafing run!!  ;D

I tried one in Jesters Showcase,  I took a tank and drove to the Airfield.
I should have stayed in the tank  :P    I made a water landing,,,, no it was a water crash  ???
Too many flips and flaps and flops on those machines.....
Tired and Tired again, re-tired!

Note that you should be able to teleport to the airfield (and to the coast where he's got all the boats, too) in Jester's Altis Showcase. It's inside those small areas at the main base which are covered by camouflage netting. It's been awhile since I did it, so I don't remember the details.

Just thought I'd let you know.

You really have to be ahead of the curve and keep a fix on the target with these fast movers.
Not going to do much sightseeing just enough time to boom and zoom and set up for the next run in.

Also, I have yet to get "Lock-on" to work properly and the plexi screen is way too grubby.
Distance vision should be set to max as well.
