Attempt #4 - November 4th.

Firing Status of all teams will be yellow until after first contact is made. - Unless otherwise ordered.

As we reach towns - Front Team lead will take command of the brunt of the forces and clear the town ahead of main convoy.

Primary Objectives:

Resupply of Kotomo

Resupply of Oumere
Status:
Completed.
-> 1x Supply, 1x Food, 1x Water

Resupply of Nandai
Status:
Completed.
-> 1x Supply, 1x Food, 1x Water

Resupply of Vagalala
Status:
Completed.
->2x Supply, 2x Food, 2x Water

Secondary Objective: Retrieval of all vehicles to airfield.
Status: FAILED.
Main forces pulled out Remaining troops:
Reap, Dtrax, Viscosity, Seth, & Waggs pushed on with no minesweeper to finish the mission.
2 Littlebirds called in -> 1 ambushed and destroyed -> Second used to retrieve a third littlebird and two supply crates for Vagalala.
[These two little birds were used for Exfil as well.]

Events in Chronological order: [Point Form]

-Rough Start -> Lot's of new guys first game, best we start slow and everyone set-up on this mission.
-As always we had to handle logistics at the start or risk running out of supplies.
- Rolling order:
Prowler 1
Prowler 2
Supply Truck 1
Supply Truck 2
Supply Truck 3
Prowler 3
-Convoy ordered to hold North side of Bridge outside Kotomo.



-Front lead ordered to take Prowler 1 + Infantry to clear a path into Kotomo.
-Front team takes heavy contact
-Jtac reports Armed Ifirit to north end of Kotomo.
-Supplies Delivered.
-Front team ordered to return to convoy.
-Prowler 1 Traded out for NEW Prowler #4.
-Prowler 1 moved to position behind prowler 2.
-Minesweeper ordered to clear road east to Oumere with Forward Team + Forward lead.
-Light contacts encountered on eastern road to north particularly from a northern sawmill.



-Convoy moved up to yellow line.
-Front team and lead ordered to assault Oumere with 1x Prowler.
-Waggs and Dtrax sent back to Airfield to trade out one prowler and bring 1x ammunition truck, 1x repair truck, and 1x supply crate.



-Front lead Fisher KIA -> Waggs Promoted on return to Front Team Lead and sent into Oumere as Fishercat's replacement with orders to clear the second half.
-Convoy moved up to Oumere Supply Drop Off.



-Convoy inched up behind front team through oumere to North of Gas Station - North of Oumere.



-Multiple Causualties sustained.
-5 Man team to push convoy forward and continue mission
-Convoy hitched and towed to give appearance of a larger team.



-SL orders Convoy to plow through Luganville.  - Troops from town followed convoy to Nandai.
-SL orders swift and less than thorough clear of Nandai.
-Supplies dropped off to Nandai underfire while Luganville ambushers are in persuit from rear of convoy.
-SL Orders team to pull north out of Nandai and into the Jungle east of Vagalala.
-Three trucks destroyed on the way out of Nandai.
-1 Prowler lost attempting to retrieve three trucks.
-Team held up in Jungle by 2x Minefields.
-Team Ambushed on 1st bridge - Circled in Red.



-On edge of Jungle entering Vagalala SL orders convoy to rush to supply drop off point - disembark and head for nearest building to hold and secure Vagalala from.

-1 Supply crate destroyed.
-1 Supply Crate Missing.

-Carrier Pigeon tasked for drop off of 1x Littlebird.
-Carrier Pigeon takes AA fire.
-Team ordered to clear out AA position on North side of Vagalala.
-Waggs and Viscosity ambushed attempting to take off
-littlebird disabled.



-AA Position destroyed.
-Carrier Pigeon re-tasked for Little bird drop.
-Waggs and viscosity return to Airfield via littlebird.
-Second littlebird aquired.
-both waggs and viscosity use little birds and hitch 1x supply crate for each chopper
-Choppers return to Vagalala, supplies dropped off.
-Remaining team members who stayed to clear Vagalala exfil via Waggs' and Viscosity's Little Bird Choppers.

-Mission Successful.

A job well done guys!
I think that's probably one of the smoothest runs of that mission we've had.
[logistically speaking for our supplies and the survival of convoy vehicles.]

It's a long one, and a hard one, with a lot of surprises along the way.
Thank you to everyone who stuck through it and persevered to the end.

And a big thank you to the new guys joining us for this Operation. This is a wild mission for you guys to start on and I thank you for your patience during the prep - As you can tell it get's only harder and harder; Especially if we hadn't done that pre-prep.

A huge thank you again to this week's Mission Builders - PapaReap and Dtrax!
 Slow to get started, but we know why every time we do it. This mission is intense. :)

Good job team.  Damn that mission is long.  Delete this if not supposed to be here.
