DX 12 utilizing Dual GPU's (AMD/Nvidia)
« on: Oct 29, 2015, 08:24 AM »
Some interesting findings with DX12 running dual gpu setup's.......not SLI...not crossfire....but....SLIFIRE?

I had mentioned a while back that rumors were floating around that DX12 could theoretically run both amd and nvidia cards together to get the best of both technology's.
Well I guess it's been done and it actually ran quite well. In the end it would be up to developers to build their games with this in mind, and right now i'm not really sure if their is any payoff for them to put in the extra work to do it. Hopefully its a easy process and in the near future I can dust off my old AMD something something card and plug it into my build for some extra compute power.

Anyway's here's the article if anyone is interested from Anandtech
